Wow, what a year it has been! I am the girl with the balloon.
I found my tribe with BoingBoing and am looking forward to officially interning with them these coming months, I got a song written for me (Oh Violet by Toy Horses), been sending my T-shirts that I screen print/stencil all over the world, started my own production company Violet Productions which includes T-shirt designs, stencils, music, and most of all films! I directed my first film Tristan in the Spring, made my first music video for The Audiophiles, I have just finished my second Film Twitter and have been sending it to many film festivals all over the world...(eeekkk!) I am still filming my documentary on the San Fransisco band called The Audiophiles...I have been getting ready to transfer to a different college for the fall of next year, if I get excepted I will be moving to LA.....(YAY!!!) I am working on a short art film for an awesomely amazing stencil artist Deathhouse....etc......all 'n all I have had an AWESOME YEAR! :D I hope you have had an amazing 2008 and I hope 2009 will be just as fantastic if not more!!!!!

Remember those Dalek shirts I talked in an earlier blog?...Well, I got asked by a friend if I would sell him one, because he wanted to buy one for a Birthday gift. But this friend is a musician who writes really really pretty songs (Toy Horses). And I have been doing art trades with other artist - shirts for shirts :) - and have enjoyed getting their art work over getting their money. So I thought it would be way cooler if we did a trade. So, I sold a shirt for a song! Adam was totally game!!!!!!! The song is sssssooooo amazing I am making him a shirt too..

I think this is the most AWESOME trade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So I'm at my film class on Thursday and my teacher asked me into her office...I go and sit down and she goes, "So, why didnt you apply for the Director or Producer or Script writer positions? I thought you would want to do one of those..." "For starts, I have a group of "the lost boys" who happen to be the rowdy bunch of "the lost boys" in my group so I don't really want to have to play Wendy and be responsible for them ruining the film...also I gave you my script for the film and you didn't like it....and for producer i don't want to do that...." I told her. Then she goes to tell me that she picked the director and its damion.....I DO NOT like my director....he is an idiot. So after she tells me that i have a sucky director, she asks me "...if you don't want to do any of those then what do you want to do?...I would like you to be apart of the core group....." I told her I wanted to act but I could do Director of Photography if she wanted me to.... She goes well you better do a DP reel for me...and oh yeah by the way....you probably wont get the position because you were DP last semester....BUT I still want you to make me one!!!!..... So here I am WITH my DP reel.....I hope you enjoy it!! :)

The Duck

A duck walks into a pub and orders a pint of beer and a ham sandwich.
The barman looks at him and says, "Hang on! You're a duck."
"I see your eyes are working," replies the duck.
"And you can talk!" exclaims the barman.
"I see your ears are working, too," says the duck. "Now if you don't mind, can
I have my beer and my sandwich please?"
"Certainly, sorry about that," says the barman as he pulls the duck's pint.
"It's just we don't get many ducks in this pub. What are you doing round this
way?"
"I'm working on the building site across the road," explains the duck. "I'm a
plasterer."
The flabbergasted barman cannot believe the duck and wants to learn more, but
takes the hint when the duck pulls out a newspaper from his bag and proceeds to
read it.
So, the duck reads his paper, drinks his beer, eats his sandwich, bids the
barman good day and leaves.
The same thing happens for two weeks.
Then one day the circus comes to town.
The ringmaster comes into the pub for a pint and the barman says to him
"You're with the circus, aren't you? Well, I know this duck that could be just
brilliant in your circus. He talks, drinks beer, eats sandwiches, reads the
newspaper and everything!"
"Sounds marvelous," says the ringmaster, handing over his business card. "Get
him to give me a call."
So the next day when the duck comes into the pub the barman says, "Hey Mr.
Duck, I reckon I can line you up with a top job, paying really good money."
"I'm always looking for the next job," says the duck. "Where is it?"
"At the circus," says the barman.
"The circus?" repeats the duck.
"That's right," replies the barman.
"The circus?" the duck asks again. "That place with the big tent?"
"Yeah," the barman replies.
"With all the animals who live in cages, and performers who live in caravans?"
says the duck.
"Of course," the barman replies.
"And the tent has canvas sides and a big canvas roof with a hole in the
middle?" persists the duck.
"That's right!" says the barman.
The duck shakes his head in amazement, and says . ...
"What the hell would they want with a plasterer??!"

A giant inflatable dog turd brought down a power line after being blown away from a Swiss museum.

The artwork, entitled Complex Shit, was carried 200 metres on the night of 31 July, reportedly breaking a greenhouse window before it landed again.

The sculpture, by American artist Paul McCarthy, was equipped with a safety system that should have deflated it.

The fake faeces has been returned and will remain on display at the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern until October.

McCarthy is well known for his inflatable artworks, two of which - Blockhead and Daddies Bighead - were displayed outside the Tate Modern in London in 2003.

T-shirt design I am making...

Ok I am going to show you the progression of making a stencil/screen print.....in this particular print, I am making 2 stencils and then for the "never mind the Daleks" and the picture of the daleks, they will be screened on using silk screen... When making the design, you want to think BLACK and WHITE ONLY!! (like in the picture below)

Once, you get your black and white design, you will then in a different layer, and put the colours you want to use...for the "exterminate" I will put pink and for the Daleks, I will make another layer and use gold. It will look like this...

Now you will make the screen. This will take a bit to make, but you will get all of the detail. And it will look awesome!!!

You will need to get a screen, squeegee, photo emulsion and sensitizer, screen filler fluid, printing ink, 150w light bulb w/ reflector or pie pan and cord, push pins, plastic spoon, small paint brush, clear tape, blue tape, newspaper, 1 piece of black paper, card board, dish scrub brush, iron, ruler, a piece of glass from a picture frame, and transparency film that works w/ your printer.

You will print the design onto 2 sheets of transparency film, so that it will make it darker when you expose the screen. Then you need to tape the top and bottom of your screen to fit your picture. Put a push pin into each of the corners of the bottom of your screen. Then you will mix up the photo emulsion.
You need to do this in a darkened room because the chemicals are light sensitive. Then pour a line of the chemicals onto the top of the screen and use your squeegee to spread a thin layer across the whole screen.

You will need somewhere dark to put this while it dries. You can use the cabinet in your bathroom with a fan so it will dry faster, but you can use a box and let it dry over night. Remember to put the push pins down because the bottom needs to dry smooth and evenly since this is the part that will come into contact with your t-shirt.
Basically, you are going to turn your screen into photo paper. In the olden days, people used to print pictures from film, just like this. You are going to use your transparency film and light to make a contact print!

Now get a 150w bulb and the light will need to be 12 inches above the screen. With the light off, you will take the push pins off and place the screen onto the black paper and turn on the light for 45min.

Once the 45mins are done you will put the screen in the sink and wash off the unexposed screen where your design is. Let it dry and now you are ready to print!!!

Now that your screen and stencils are ready, you will get your shirt and put a piece of cardboard in where you want the design and put pins to hold it in place. Then get the gold dalek stencil and place it where you want; spray some addheasive onto the stencil so when you paint, the stencil wont move. Get your paint and paint it!
After you are finished with painting that part, lift the stencil off the shirt and get your blow dryer and dry the paint. Then get the pink exterminate stencil and spray some adhesive onto it and place it. Then do the same again; spray adhesive, place it on the shirt, paint it, take the stencil off and dry it.

Now you are ready to screen print it!!

You will line up the screen to where you put the stencils on your shirt and then press down on the screen. Then you will get ink and put it on the screen and get your squeegee and spread the ink across the whole screen, until the design kind of lifts off. Remove the screen and get your blow dryer and dry it then get your iron and a thin dish towel and set the iron to the setting it says to depending on the material of your shirt. Iron it for about 3 minutes. Then turn off the iron and take the towel off and....

NOW YOU JUST MADE YOU OWN SHIRT!!!!!!

Suicide Note - By Kid Harpoon

If I were to commit suicide, this is how it would be. To begin, I would walk through the High Street from the lower Rochester road and head towards the Bridge, full of conviction and without stopping once. At the foot of the bridge I look at the lions and the battle ahead, and then slowly begin my ascent up the girders. Balance for this will be essential, as falling and hurting oneself this far in would be a tragic failure. I would make my way up to a peak and stare out over the river Medway. As I imagine it now I face the new Cinema complex with the Castle on my left hand side. I have no true justification for this except that it feels most natural.

It is dark, and little orange lights are popping up all around the town and all around me. Moving cars are crossing the river, speeding their way home to family meals, arguments and TV. The wind in my face and its current underneath are unbalancing, but exciting. From up here I can see the stars and the shore reflecting and rippling, reversed onto the water. Everything is upside down.

I stand up straight and tall with my back and shoulders in a neat posture. As I breathe, the cold wind shoots down my throat and robs me of my breath. I’m in awe of the elements for the very last time.

My jump from the bridge will be a swan dive. I’ll arch my back out after I leap, and fall into a perfect vertical descent straight down into the river. My arms will be outstretched, my legs will be straight and tight, and my fingertips and eyes will both stay focussed upon breaking the surface.

So I dive, into the immense rushing wind and numbing cold, and the river comes up hard to meet me. She soaks me and rings me and wrestles me over, and shows me all of the treasures she hides; maybe octopuses or sharks, or pianos and suits. Then she spits me out, somewhere near Sheerness, or she sweeps me round to Gravesend, with tin cans on my feet and a Tesco’s bag in my mouth.

On June 5th (my mum's birthday) this guy come and knocks on our door and say, "so I talked to your other neighbor and he says you have a duck....well this morning my cats found a baby duck. would you like to have it?" Mum flipped out and made the guy run back to his house to get the thing. he brings it back in a box and it is so tiny. He is smaller than a mobile. So we take care on him and he gets bigger and bigger! in just 3 weeks he fits in two hands! He is the cutest thing!!! We were going to call him Wallie after that new Disney movie that is coming out soon but we kept calling him ducky so now he thinks "Ducky" is his name!

The Audiophiles

The Audiophiles were born two years ago by four high schoolers who shared a passion for music. All of the band members had previous experience in other rock bands, and were well-trained in music theory through their previous experiences with jazz, bluegrass, and classical music.

The Audiophiles' original oath was to make rock and roll without the cliches that are so common in most popular music. Through constant songwriting, long practices, networking, and hard work, The Audiophiles have progressed from pool parties and opening at small Cafes, to winning supporting slots at top bay area venues such as Bottom of The Hill, The Elbo Room and Slim's. People comment most often on how good they are for their age, yet The Audiophiles prefer that their age be overlooked , and that their music is enjoyed for the subtleties and details that they work hard to put into their music.

They are part of the Plant's Budding Artists program, and have also recorded two EP's. The first, "This Party Has Just Started" was recorded at a small new studio in the SoMA neighborhood of their hometown, San Francisco, and the second, which they recently released at Bottom of the Hill, was recorded at Bayview Studios in Richmond, CA.

this is a concept I was writing for my film final. what you are a bout to read is a concept being written right in front of you. as i typed, it was being created. so the first thing you will read is an attempt of writing it then the next is a finished concept that is not as detailed. after that, it is a one sentence concept then the start of the script.

A 17 year old boy named Charlie lives in a respected family. His parents die (for some reason I have yet to figure out) and he is left to fend for himself. His girlfriend tells him that she is going to have his child and he panics. The house that his parents own is getting taken away from him and he doesnt think he is ready for a child so he leaves home and is walking for a few weeks when he comes across a group of traveling gypsys. They take him under their wing and he travels with them. They teach him how to play the guitar n the ways of the world. He falls in love with a gypsy girl named_____ After a year living with them they end up in a big city. One night he gets separated from them and he is left to fend himself in the city where he lived on the streets. The only thing he has with him is a guitar. He plays guitar for food; one day a guy about his age comes up to him and tells asks him if he wrote the song he was playing. He says yes it is. The
boy asks, would you like to be in a band. Charlie thin and feeble. The boy says why don't you come with me and I will get you some food....would you like that? We can talk some more after that. So Charlie gets up n walks with him to a near by restant. As they are waiting for their food, the boy says my name is thomas and he is starting a band. He went on to say that he would get a place to stay and food to eat. After they eat Thomas asks so what do you think? Wanna meet the rest of the group? Charlie agrees to so they leave the place. When thomas and Charlie got to their destination, Thomas lead him into the run down house. One of the guys came out of one of the bedrooms looking blery eyed and asked who "he" was. Thomas explained to him that charlie was the new guitarist and introduced the other guy, ryan to Charlie. The band started to practce songs; while Charlie and Thomas wrote songs and got closer...

There is a guy whos parents die so he runs away from the pain n nocks his girlfriend up. Then the house his parents owned is getting taken away n he doesnt want to be a father so he runs away from there n finds some gypsies where he falls in love with a girl. She wants to get married n that freaks him out so he leaves n ends up in a big city. He lives on the street n plays guitar for food. A guy his age asks him to join his band n he does. He starts to do skag n tries to run away from himself. He gets another girl nocked up n he leaves to go back home and ends up back in his old town so he disides to see his first girlfriend. He can't find her so he asks a lady if she still lives there. The lady asks why he is looking for her. She then says that the girl died a few years ago when her boyfriend disapered and left her with child. She could not bear it so she killed her self while the child was still not born. The guy is freaked out because he realizes
that it is his fault for her n the child's death so he goes back to his girlfriend that is about to have his child and marries her n changes his life.

in 1 setances: it is about a young guy who runs away from every thing when times get a little bit hard so in the end he changes his life and bears with it.

A slow pan of a piano and stops on a man playing pasionatly. He is about the age of 17. Charles is his name. He is wearing a suit as the song ends, a girl walks in and leans on the piano saying "aw Charlie, that's so pretty!" he plays the last note and looks up at her. She then goes over to him and hugs him, as he puts his arms around her, he looks into her eyes and says "its not finished yet..." he kisses her neck "but when its done, its for you." then he kisses her again.

so here is the ruff draft concept of my film Tristan. Before it was what it is now...

The film starts out with a normal man getting ready for work. All of a sudden his front door gets broken down and several men in stocking caps rush in. They seazed the man and toke him to a van. Once inside the van the they nocked the man out. When the man awakes, he sees that he is duck tapedto a chair and locked in a room. As he comes to his senses, he starts screaming and thrashing. Two of the men come into the room and ask him to tell them where he hide "it" he says he doesn't know what they are talking about and he doesn't know why he's there. They beat him up but once they relize that he won't tell them anything he knows, they lock him back up in the room. After a few days the man is screaming, taterd and torn; the two men come in the room and ask him if he will now tell them where he put it. But he still says he doesn't know and they should just kill him now. So they drag him to there boss. When he looks up he sees that is it his boss from work.
The man freaks out. Not knowing why his boss is there and with the men that kidnaped him. His boss asks him if he won't tell them where he hide it they will have to kill him. The man says he doesn't know what they are talking about so they should just kill him now. His boss says fine kill him. The next thing he wakes up in his bed; hears some one moving around in his bedroom. Looking around, he sees his girlfriend zipping out her sutecase. She looks at him and says if you wanted to break up, just tell it to my face. Instead of keeping me up all night; yelling at me and telling me I was worthless and I'm not your boss! She then takes off one of her shoes and flings it at him. It misses so she takes off the other one and hits him on the head with it; then leaves. He gets up saying to him self wow that was a bad night. He then starts to hey ready to go to work. It ends

My experience as a film maker

My experience making my film was amazing! I learned so much about; one, how much work goes into being a director; getting the locations right for the feel of the film; getting the right actors and crew; how hard and long it takes to edit a 5 minute film together; and the hardest thing was learning how hard it is to get my crew together at the same time to film. I had two of the most difficult people in class and this department in my film and they were fantastic. They really showed that if they wanted to do it, they could do something amazing. They put a lot of effort into helping me make this film and if it was not for them, I don't know if my film would have been as good.

To critique my film, I would have to say that there is not too much that I would change. the maine character that Jeff played was the way that I wanted; you felt sorry for him and yet, you don't at the same time. I could have taken it in three different ways; it could have had where you totally feel sorry for him and you pity him or I could have had it where you hate him and you don't like him at all or how I had it, where you like him and feel sorry for him, yet at the same time you are routing for the hitman as they beat him up. But this is the way that I envisioned him to be like.

If I did anything different, I probably would have gotten a better actress to play the girlfriend instead of myself. And I would have like to have had a car scene where he gets thrown into the car and you see him come in and out of conciseness more that just when he is on the stairs. But over all this turned out to be better than I originally thought it would turn out.

This was so amazing and cool to say that I wrote, Directed, and acted in my OWN film called Tristan!! This was the best experience!

Tristan By Wendy Falconer

Scene 1:

Tristan, a normal guy in his 20’s, is wearing a white t-shirt and jeans. It is morning time and he is at home, walking around the house brushing his teeth; he is getting ready for work, when His door bell rings so he goes to open it.

He groggily says:

Tristan:

Yea, what now?

His door gets pushed out of his hands and three men seize him. (You never see any of the hit man’s faces through out the whole film.) They throw him into a white beat-up van that is outside his house.

Scene 2:

Once inside the van, Tristan bewildered and frustrated says:

Tristan:

What are you doing?! What the hell is going?!!

One of the hit man punches Tristan and knocks him out.

Scene 3:

It cuts to Tristan’s eyes, then quickly zooms out to show that he is duct-taped to a chair; locked in a dark, grimy, small room. He has blood on his face from getting knocked out. There is one over hanging light that is swinging. This causes the light to alternate from showing him to black. This is to create a creepy, claustrophobic flickering spot light effect on him. When he comes to his senses, he starts to scream and thrash about. Two of the men come into the room. He starts yelling at them:

Tristan:

Let me go!! I don’t want to be here! Why are you

tying me down?! Get me out of here! What have

I done to you?! LET ME GO!!!

He keeps yelling at them so they beat him up. Once he is covered in blood, they leave him locked up in the room. As one of the hit men pulls the chain for the light, it cuts to black.

Fades from black.

A few days later he is covered in blood, is dirty and is screaming at the door; two of the hit men come in to the room again. The light from the door illuminates Tristan blinding him for a second, blinking, he starts yelling again, but now more faintly.

Tristan:

If you hate me so much, why don’t you

just leave me alone? I don’t want to see you!

I hate you! I want you to leave me alone!

The two guys start to kick him; he continues to scream at them:

Tristan:

Stop! Get me out of here! I need to get out of

this hell! I can’t deal with this shit any more!

Why are you tying me up, why don’t you just let me go?

What have I ever done to you? SET ME FREE!

As they continue to kick him, you hear a loud knock on the door and the door squeaks open.

There is just one spot light the whole time.

Out of the darkness, a person walks in, grabbing a chair and sits down on the chair backwards; in front of Tristan and folds their hands. All you see of the boss is from over the shoulder of the boss, facing Tristan. When Tristan looks up, he sees that it is someone that he recognizes, but he is not sure who it is. He freaks out, not knowing why this person is there with the guys that kidnapped him.

Panicked he says:

Tristan:

You can’t keep me here any longer.

You aren’t allowed to. It is against the law and you can’t do that. You have no right to keep me here against my will. You’ve kept me here too long; I need to get out of here!

He, still duct-taped to the chair, starts to kick out at his Boss as he gets louder.

Tristan:

You aren’t my boss and you don’t own me. If you are going to keep me here any longer, then just kill me!

I’d rather die than be here with you!

As the boss rises to leave, you see the figure silhouetted that has the shape of a woman, but in a man’s voice it is said matter-of-factly:

Boss

That’s enough. Kill him.

Tristan, wide eyed starts to thrash even more. The two men grab him and start to wrap a rope around his neck.

Tristan passes out, screaming:

Tristan:

What! NO!!! Let me go! I’m suffocating!!!

You can’t do this to me!

You have no right! I hate you!

Fades to black. Then fades to white.

Scene 4:

Tristan is lying on the bed.

Close up of his face, eyes shut, sheet wrapped around his neck as if it was strangling him. He is wearing a white t-shirt and sweatpants. As he opens his eyes, he is tugging at the sheet wrapped around his neck and he is screaming:

Tristan:

Let me go! Set me free!!! JUST LEAVE…!

As he is saying, “just leave…” he opens his eyes and sees his girlfriend standing at the end of the bed with her luggage hanging from her shoulders and the look of death and “duh, what do you think I’m doing” look on her face.

Yelling angrily, she says:

Violet:

You know, if you wanted to break up with me, then JUST tell it to my face! Instead of keeping me up all night, yelling at me and telling me that you want your freedom and to let you go and I AM NOT YOUR BOSS!!!!!

As she says “I AM NOT YOUR BOSS”, she drops a bag that she is carrying. As she picks up the bag and the things that fell out of it, she picks up a shoe; looks at it, grins cheekily, looks at Tristan and then flings the shoe at his face. The shoe misses him as he flinches and it hits the wall behind him. Before he has a chance to react, she flings the other shoe directly at him and hits him right in the face. She then storms out of the house as she slams all of the doors behind her.

Cuts to Tristan on the bed, rubbing his face, sighs/groans loudly and falls backward on to the bed.

Valentines day....

Valentines Day was brilliant!! I went to the Museum of Modern Art in San Francisco and they had this exhibit that last time I was there, it was a room that was painted all black; the roof, walls, the carpet was even was black. The only thing that was in there was a projector and a fog machine. The projector was pointed at one of the walls opposite it, projecting simple lines that were straight, or curved. With the fog machine, the design that was always changing made this awesome affect! the pictures here are of a piece of art in an other all black room but this room is filled with different TV's....sizes are different and each of them are showing a different picture that run on loops.

documentarys suck

Well I am about to get kicked out of job and school. There is always drama with me....so what happened? Two weeks ago I was brought into "Ms. Rudimentary’s" office to talk about something for my work and she also wanted to know if I was happy with my documentary class. I said it was a bit crazy but it is alright. She then proceeded to question me about it. She then said that she was thinking that it would be cool to make a documentary about women gamers; since people don't think about the women who play video games. She asked if I liked the idea and I said that I like it because it sounded cool but the people in my group are all guys and I know them; they are too macho and they will not like the idea, but I will research and see what I can find.

Then I left. I went and researched the topic but I could not find anything! Ok well all I found was two teams who are girls but they live in either Texas or New York. And guess what.....I can’t fly there, so therefore no interviews!!! Ms. Rudimentary said that it would be cool to interview the women’s avatar and film that, but how do you really know it’s a woman you are talking to.

The next day is documentary class, she comes up to me and says "Oh, I talked to Dick about the whole women gamer’s thing and he really likes it so why don’t you guys talk before class starts." I tried to tell her before she brought Dick over, that I could not find anything about the topic online, but she did not want to hear it because she was to busy to talk. So whatever, I talk to him a bit but I had a lot of work to do for a TV show so I don’t get to say much to him.

So class comes along and it’s me, Peter Pan, Mr. Perv and Dick from our group. Our teacher says "ok I want to propose a change in the gamer’s documentary. I want to change it to be about women who are gamers. Wendy, will you please say what you found out about the topic?" I said "Well I tried to tell you earlier that when I went home and researched it, I could not find anything other than about these two groups that live far away.” She, getting protective, asks in front of the whole “So are you going back on your word? I though we talked about this yesterday. Was that a lie? Are you lying to me??” I said “No. I said that I thought the idea was cool but I would research it and see what I could find. But since I could not find anything I tried to tell you that I don’t think it will work.” Peter Pan does not like the idea to change the whole concept of our documentary and is getting mad about it. Dick is NOT helping. He’s saying, “Well I just think it’s a good plan. Let’s just do what the teacher says, because it’s a good idea.” Our teacher says “Just go to an area to discuss ideas and pick a topic.”

So, off we go to the couches to discuss our topic for our gaming documentary. Ha! What a joke! We start to talk about it; Dick starts nagging us to just go with our teacher because all he wants to do is do what she says to do so that he can get an “A” in the class because he does not care what its about and he doesn’t even like video games so it doesn’t matter. Peter Pan is flipping because it DOES matter to him and he doesn’t want to just do what the teacher says because he wants to think for his self and she won’t let him. I am staying quite because if I say anything I will get it back at me so I just sit there frustrated about the whole thing. Ms. Rudimentary listens in to our conversation and comes over and says “No, no, no…did you not just hear what I said? You ARE doing the woman gamers end of subject.” Peter Pan says “Yea but the rest of the Lost Boys are not here and I know that they would never want to change the concept because we have already filmed several interviews and footage for it. So I am not going to do it.” Our teacher says “fine leave now. Go get a juice at the cafeteria.” Peter Pan says “Um…I don’t drink juice and why would I want to go to the cafeteria? It’s gross. Also I am going to hang out with Wendy (Me) and we are also going to work on her film… So I kind of need to stick around so we can leave after this. Ms. Rudimentary says to just leave before she kicks him out of the class for the semester. She then goes into detail of how he never respects her and she doesn’t want him around because he is not good. After that she brings me into her office and talks crap about him, then she sends me on my way.

Once in the car, Peter Pan and I talk about the whole thing and how frustrating she is. We get to my house and he meets my mum and I showed him the different scenes from "The Trial" by Orson Welles that I wanted him to see because it was freakishly close to my film I am making. After that I show him the locations.

In The Beginning

My name is Wendy and yes I am friends Peter Pan… I am apart of the Lost Boys tribe and make films with them. There is so much drama that you will here about a little later! Yee be warned… :) I am a film student at my local JC. My life is mental. Oh yeah, I also have rock star boyfriend!

Ok, back to where I began… I grew up in a small town that could be some where is Scotland; in a shack that was falling apart. The 20 ft peaked roof had broken if not missing shingles across the entire roof. When it rained; it rained in the house; this place had also not been painted since the 1800’s. The towns people called it the “Haunted House”.

So here I am board out of me mind with school when my mum gets a mobile. It was the size of an IPhone but thicker; it had a camera to take pictures with, its own kind if Photoshop, and the amazing, the brilliant, the video camera! It only film for about 15seconds, but I fell in love.
There was not a time that I wasn't filming. She couldn’t even make She couldn’t even make phone calls because I made so many 15 second films on her phone. That's when I became fascinated with the moving picture.

I love still pictures; my mum is a still photographer, so I grew up modeling and taking pictures of different things. But I found the moving pictures so amazing.
